Changes

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has made an administrative change to the 'Baits, lures, attractants and poisons for agricultural or domestic use' BICON case to include an option for 'Plant based, no listed as an approved ingredient'.

The aim is to direct import permit applicants of plant based baits and lures to the correct BICON pathway and improve efficiencies with assessments.

Import conditions and policies have not changed.

Who does this affect:
Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessments and other departmental staff. Importers and brokers of baits and lures should not be impacted by this change.
