Recognition of San Marino as being free of FMD, LSD and sheep and goat pox
Effective from 25 October 2024The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has officially recognised that San Marino is free of foot and mouth disease (FMD), lumpy skin disease (LSD) and sheep and goat pox.
As part of this recognition, the department has added the San Marino to the following lists:
- list of countries approved for the import of bovine fluids and tissues
- list of countries approved for the import of ovine and caprine fluids and tissues
- FMD-free country list
- LSD-free country list
- Sheep pox and goat pox-free country list
Who does this alert affect:
Departmental staff, importers of bovine, ovine and caprine products.
