Pre-export methyl bromide fumigation at one of the following approved schedules:

  • 21 °C and above at a dosage rate of 32 g/m³ for an exposure period of 2 hours
  • 16 °C 20.9 °C at a dosage rate of 40 g/m³ for an exposure period of 2 hours
  • 11 °C 15.9 °C at a dosage rate of 48 g/m³ for an exposure period of 2 hours
  • 10 °C 10.9 °C at a dosage rate of 56 g/m³ for an exposure period of 2 hours.

The department does not allow dosage compensation where the ambient temperature is above 21ºC or below 10ºC unless otherwise specified.

  • 0.00°C for not less than 12 consecutive days
  • 1.11°C for not less than 14 consecutive days
  • 1.67°C for not less than 16 consecutive days
  • 2.22°C for not less than 18 consecutive days.
