1 Remedial action includes either treatment of the consignment using an approved treatment to ensure that the pest is no longer viable or withdrawing the consignment from export to Australia.

NT: Pest of biosecurity concern for the Northern Territory.

WA: Pest of biosecurity concern for Western Australia.

RA: A regulated article is defined by the IPPC as ‘Any plant, plant product, storage place, packaging, conveyance, container, soil and any other organism, object or material capable of harbouring or spreading pests, deemed to require phytosanitary measures, particularly where international transportation is involved’ (FAO 2019b).
