Requirement: Systems approach for managing bacterial blight on whole pomegranates
Effective 5 September 2020 to 30 October 2021India’s National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO) has primary responsibility for ensuring that orchards implement a systems approach as described in the ‘Work plan for the export of fresh pomegranates from India to Australia' to manage bacterial blight. The systems approach specifies registration of production sites and packing houses, training, monitoring, orchard hygiene, packing house practices and inspection.
