Information: Seasonal pest free place of production for three drosophilid flies
Effective 28 August 2020 to 13 October 2021The Australian National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO) recognises production sites as free from quarantine Drosophila sp. of concern to Australia (D. pulchrella, D. subpulchrella, D. suzukii) during the period December to March. Production sites must be registered with the Japanese NPPO and managed in accordance with the “Work plan for the export of fresh strawberries from Japan to Australia”.
