Live C. elegans standard permit pathways moving between BICON cases

Effective from 7 November 2024

The department currently offers two standard permits for live Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) for laboratory use, covering wild-type and genetically modified C. elegans specimens.

As of 7 November 2024, these permits have now been moved to the Live animals and their reproductive material for laboratory use pathway in BICON. No changes have been made to import conditions in either standard permit.

If you wish to apply for an import permit containing either of these standard permits, please refer to the Live animals and their reproductive material for laboratory use pathway in BICON to submit your application.
