Change of offshore irradiation requirements for dried cannabis plant parts other than seed
Effective from 15 August 2024What has changed?
The Department has changed the requirement for dried cannabis plant parts other than seed to be irradiated within 21 days of export, to now be required to be irradiated within 6 months of export. No other changes have been made to import conditions.
Who does this notice affect?
Importers (and their customs brokers) of medicinal cannabis plant parts other than seed products and department staff.
