Changes

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry changed the name of the BICON case 'Insects and insect products for human consumption' to 'Insect and arachnid products for human consumption'.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of insects and arachnids for human consumption, Biosecurity Imports Support Team, Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessments and Inspections.

Background:
The case has been expanded to include arachnids, as previously there was no pathway in BICON to submit applications for goods such as scorpions and spiders for human consumption.
