Removal of import permit requirement for grapefruit from Egypt
Effective from 20 November 2023The requirement for an import permit for fresh grapefruit grown in Egypt for human consumption has been removed.
Importers will no longer need to apply for, or present a permit on arrival, to import fresh grapefruit from Egypt.
There are no associated costs with this change.
Who does this notice affect:
Importers of fresh grapefruit grown in Egypt, approved arrangements, freight forwarders, brokers, and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspection.
