Green coffee beans updates to the Highly Compliant Importer (HCI) scheme

Effective from 12 October 2023

The department has updated onshore pathways for goods not digested through an animal, ‘Green coffee bean – other than vacuum sealed’ and ‘Decaffeinated green coffee bean’.

Additionally green coffee bean eligible for the HCI scheme, arriving as bulk goods via FCL will now be subjected to a ‘Secure seals intact’ inspection.
