Changes

The department has made changes to the requirements for company representative declarations which include updates to the description wording and requirement criteria for company representative declarations.

These changes have been implemented to ensure that declarations being made by representatives in the country of import have been made by persons with a genuine knowledge of the condition of the goods.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of aircraft/aircraft parts, equipment, machinery/machinery parts, and vehicles/vehicle parts, Biosecurity Industry Participants, customs brokers, principle shipping agents, biosecurity staff and Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment and Inspection.
