Addition of a redirect to the landing page for Human therapeutics and medicines
Effective from 18 October 2023The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has made changes to the BICON case Human therapeutics and medicines.
There have not been any changes to import conditions.
- A redirect has been added to advise importers, 'Human therapeutics and medicines that are meat products e.g., deer velvet, ovine placenta, from New Zealand' can be imported under the import conditions in the BICON case Unretorted meat (pathway: Meat (excl. avian and pork) sourced, manufactured and exported from NZ and/or Australia).
Who does this notice affect:
Importers of human therapeutics and medicines, including complementary medicines of animal origin. Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspection, BIST.
