Changes

The department has updated onshore outcomes in the cumin and coriander seed for human consumption BICON cases, for multiple pathways whereby all requirements have been met.

For onshore outcomes whereby ISTA testing is nominated by the importer for seeds not purity tested offshore that are less than 8mm in size, all onshore outcomes have been changed to ensure a seeds-qualified biosecurity officer conducts the inspection for these pathways.

No other changes have been made to the import conditions for cumin and coriander seed for human consumption.

Importers of cumin and coriander seed for human consumption from all countries and their brokers, Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections and departmental staff.
