Changes

The department has made minor changes to the import conditions for used machinery and equipment found within the 'Machinery and equipment' BICON case.

From Friday, 21 April 2023, used machinery and equipment that has been imported on flat racks will be subject to a full inspection on the wharf of discharge to ensure that the consignment is free of biosecurity risk material.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of used machinery and equipment, Biosecurity Import Support Team (BIST) and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections.
