Changes

A new pathway has been added to the Hemp seed and hemp products BICON case to direct stakeholders importing or assessing hemp fibre products not for human consumption or medicinal use to the Permitted plant fibres BICON case.

Feedback about the appropriate pathway for hemp fibre and hemp fibre products highlighted there was a need to clearly define the appropriate BICON pathway for hemp fibre products not for human consumption or medicinal use. Import conditions for these products are in the Permitted plant fibres BICON case.

Importers of hemp seed and hemp products, brokers, Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment and Inspections.
