Changes

Per the import conditions for manufactured wooden articles within the Timber and timber products BICON case, goods may require storage declaration. The storage declaration guidelines have been updated to clarify requirements regarding how goods are listed in storage declarations. The change specifies that product names or descriptions are required to be inserted in the <<insert product name/description>> section of each statement. General descriptions, such as “treated goods” or “treated commodity” or similar, are not acceptable.

There has been no change to import conditions.

Feedback received by Plant Import Operations from internal and external stakeholders highlighted the need for clarification.
