Changes

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) has corrected the import conditions for Purified bulk enzymes for environmental purposes.

There were recent changes to the description of composite goods to allow for certain low risk ingredients to be included in a good and for that good not to be considered as a composite good.

This change was incorrectly applied to the standard permit case: Purified bulk enzymes for environmental purposes.

The permit case has now been corrected and composite goods are not permitted for Purified bulk enzymes for environmental purposes.

No import permits had been issued with the incorrect conditions, consequently current permit holders will not be affected.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of Purified bulk enzymes for environmental purposes, biosecurity staff and Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment and Inspections.
