Changes

The department has made minor changes to the import conditions and BICON case for Animal based flavours or floss.

The changes include the following:

• Addition of redirects to BICON cases for retorted goods and aquatic products
• Addition of links in all pathways to glossary definitions for “discernible” and “meat”
• Rework of the manufacturer’s declaration statements for less than 5% animal based flavours.

Who does this notice affect:
Biosecurity Import services Team (BIST), Assessment Services Group (ASG) and importers of animal based flavours or floss for human consumption.
