Import conditions for Banana seed for sowing have been suspended due to inactivity (no recent trade). This pathway will require a review of import conditions against associated biosecurity risks. A review of import conditions may be conducted by the department upon request, subject to resource availability.

This applies to imports from all countries.

Importers of Banana seed for sowing, biosecurity officers and Pathway Operations Cargo – Inspection.

Import permits:
No import permits are affected by this change.
