Changes

Updated import conditions have been published on BICON for the importation of fresh grapes from China. These updates come from the import conditions review recommendations for grapes. The updates include the re-formatting of conditions and a new pest risk management table.

The reformatting of import conditions allows a clear and consistent structure that defines responsibilities prior to arrival, required measures and on arrival verification outcomes. The updated pest risk management table clearly identifies pests associated with this pathway.

Please note that agreed measures to manage pests remain the same.

This notice affects importers and brokers of fresh grapes for human consumption from China and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections.
