Changes

Changes for the 2022-2023 seasonal measures for Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) have been introduced as of 01 September 2022.

These changes include:

• Goods arriving as air freight import pathway disabled.
• BMSB new, unused, and not field tested (NUFT) declaration option implemented in sea container import pathways for goods that can meet certain criteria.
• Updates to onshore activities and direction comments.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of target high risk goods from target risk countries, Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections.
