Changes

As a result of amendments to the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non prohibited Goods) Determination 2021 import conditions in the BICON commodity case Retorted goods have been changed.

Alternative conditions for retorted goods from New Zealand, that are or include pork or avian meat have been developed. An import permit will no longer be required.

Although an import permit is no longer required, import conditions will continue to apply. Please see the relevant BICON case for specific import conditions.
