Changes to freeze-dried (whole) and finely shredded products
Effective from 4 June 2022The existing import conditions for freeze-dried whole capsicums and chillies have been moved from the 'Dried Vegetables for human consumption' BICON case to the new 'Dried capsicum or chilli (whole, crushed or ground) for human consumption' BICON case.
The crushed or ground capsicums and chilli pathway has been updated to include products that are 'finely shredded'.
No other changes have been made to import conditions.

Importers of dried capsicum and chilli products and other stakeholders in the import and shipping sectors.
