Addition of Heracleum sosnowskyi to the 'Plant species that are weeds' case
Effective from 4 June 2022Heracleum sosnowskyi has been added to the ‘Plants species that are weeds’ case.
Who does this notice affect:
Importers of seed for sowing, brokers and departmental staff.
Background:
The department has completed an assessment of Heracleum sosnowskyi and has concluded that the species is a quarantine pest. As a result, the species is not permitted entry into Australia.
