Revised case structure for Animal trophies, articles and handicraft items

Effective from 26 April 2022

As a result of amendments to the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non prohibited Goods) Determination 2021 import conditions in the BICON commodity case Animal trophies, articles and handicraft items have been changed.

The evidence requirement for untanned and partially processed game trophies, hides or skins from New Zealand has been changed from a health certificate to a certificate given by an official of the government of New Zealand.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of Untanned and partially processed game trophies, hides or skins from New Zealand, Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment and/or Inspections, Client Contact Group.
