Revised case structure for Preserved and fixed animal and human specimens

Effective from 26 April 2022

As a result of amendments to the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non prohibited Goods) Determination 2021 import conditions in the BICON commodity case Preserved and fixed animal and human specimens have been changed.

Animal and human specimens that have been plastinated will no longer be required to be imported in a sealed container.

Importers of animal and human specimens, Pathway Operations Cargo - Assessment and/or Inspections, Client Contact Group.
