Changes to Purified Antibodies BICON case

Effective from 24 May 2022

The department has reviewed import conditions for purified antibodies and has developed two new import pathways and standard permit conditions. The new standard permits will broaden the range of goods that can be imported using a standard permit.

The new standard permit conditions are now available to review and apply for if conditions can be met, by searching and selecting the ‘Purified Antibodies’ commodity case and selecting one of the following:

  • Raised against disease agents excluding pathogens of biosecurity concern (standard permit); and
  • Raised against recombinant antigens or produced using recombinant systems (standard permit)
