Removal of treatment date on phytosanitary certificates for blueberries from New Zealand

Effective from 22 June 2022

The department has published updated import conditions for fresh blueberries from New Zealand. The department has removed from BICON the requirement for treatment name and date on the phytosanitary certificate for blueberries destined for Western Australia; however, the treatment name and date will need to be recorded and made available to the department, upon request.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of fresh blueberry fruit from New Zealand, brokers and Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections.
