Changes

As a result of amendments to the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non prohibited Goods) Determination 2021 import conditions in the BICON commodity case Gelatine have been changed.

Human cosmetic use has been added to the alternative conditions for gelatine. An import permit will no longer be required for gelatine, that is commercially prepared, for use in cosmetics for humans. Gelatine will not count towards the 20% animal derived material in fully finished retail packaged human cosmetics.
