Changes

The department has reviewed the import conditions for sea or ocean water samples that are less than 5 litres.

These goods will no longer be required to be inspected on arrival. Instead, documentation will be required attesting to the goods being free of suspended and solid material. Conditions for how the goods can be used have also been clarified.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers and brokers of sea or ocean water samples, as well as department staff.
