Xylella fastidiosa and Sudden Oak Death hosts for use as nursery stock

Effective from 24 February 2021

Following a review of species listed in BICON, the ‘Xylella fastidiosa and Sudden Oak Death hosts for use as nursery stock’ case been updated to include the species Carpinus virginiana.

Carpinus virginiana is a synonym of Ostrya virginiana, which is present in Australia and not under official control.

No other changes have been made to import conditions for Xylella fastidiosa and Sudden Oak Death hosts for use as nursery stock.
