Changes

The restrictions on end uses within the BICON case for fruit and vegetable juices, chilled pulps, purees and pastes, plant oils and plant-based beverages have been updated to better reflect the Biosecurity (Conditionally Non-prohibited Goods) Determination 2021. This included the exclusion of these products being used for animal consumption, veterinary therapeutics, growing purposes, fertilisers or as bioremedial agents.

Who does this notice affect:

• Importers and brokers of fruit and vegetable juices, chilled pulps, purees and pastes, plant oils and plant-based beverages.
• Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and Inspections.
