Annulohypoxylon stygium and Bionectria ochroleuca have been included on the permitted species list for dried or processed mushrooms. Only dried or processed forms of Annulohypoxylon stygium and Bionectria ochroleuca are permitted for import.

Who does this notice affect:

This notice is of use to Assessment Services Group, Inspection Services Group and importers of dried medicinal mushroom for treatment on arrival.

Background:

Plant Import Operations sought advice on behalf of industry regarding biosecurity status of Annulohypoxylon stygium and Bionectria ochroleuca, it was found that in dried of processed form the species pose no biosecurity risk.
