Import permits are no longer required for Myrtaceous species timber, which reflects changes to the Biosecurity (Prohibited and Conditionally Non-prohibited Goods) Determination 2016, made on 25 July, 2018. The current treatment requirements for Myrtaceous species timber still apply.
