BICON Change Notice Returning Australian products - Permit removal for seals intact consignments

What's Changed

The Biosecurity (Prohibited and Conditionally Non-Prohibited Goods) Determination 2016 has been amended to allow Returning Australian products derived from animal and microbial products, excluding live animals and with the original Australian Government container seals intact to be imported into Australia without requiring an import permit. The legislative changes are effective from 25 July 2018.

The BICON case for Returning Australian products has been amended accordingly. No other changes have been made to the import conditions.
