Non-Commodity Cargo Clearance

Effective from 27 July 2019

The “Non-commodity Cargo Clearance” BICON case is being updated to change export time post treatment from 21 to 90 days.

Who does this change affect:
Assessment Services Group, Importers of any product using non-commodity cargo.

Background:
The department is updating the post treatment and export for non-commodity, non-IPSM 15 accredited timber packing and dunnage from 21 days to 90 days. This change is intended to align non-commodity treatment conditions with treatment conditions in other BICON cases. Importers that meet current conditions will not be affected by this change.
