Dried herb products not for human consumption

Effective from 25 July 2018

What's changed?

The Biosecurity (Prohibited and Conditionally Non-Prohibited Goods) Determination 2016 has been amended to allow dried herb products not for human consumption to be imported into Australia without requiring an import permit. The legislative changes are effective from 25 July 2018.

The BICON case for dried herb products not for human consumption has been amended accordingly. No additional conditions have been imposed.

Importers intending to import these goods, are reminded to review the associated case to ensure that they can comply with current conditions.
