Changes

Import conditions for bamboo leaf products have been relocated to the “bamboo products” BICON case.

Additional evidence regarding the end use is now required to ensure bamboo leaf products are only imported for food display purposes. This change is not expected to be onerous as import conditions have not been altered.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of bamboo leaf products for food display purposes, and Assessment Services Group.

Background:
Import conditions for bamboo leaf products were added to the food, food products and beverages case on 24 February 2018. These conditions were aimed at bamboo leaf products for food display purposes.
