Changes

Import conditions in the ‘Cane and rattan articles’ BICON case have been reviewed and the following refinements have been made:

• The requirement for cane and rattan articles to be thoroughly dried and not capable of propagation has been added to the import conditions. This requirement has been added to clarify import conditions and to align import conditions to similar commodities.

Background:
Feedback received by Plant Import Operations from internal and external stakeholders highlighted the need for a consistent approach to goods of this type.
