Bee products

Effective from 13 March 2020

Departmental officers, importers and industry are advised of the following amendment to conditions for the import of Bee products - Honey, honeycomb, propolis, royal jelly that have a first port of entry into Western Australia:

  • The statements required to be presented on a health certificate are three separate conditions that can be attested to.

The amendment will not require importers to make any changes to current import procedures for these goods. This change is being made by the department to better facilitate clearance of goods while still managing the biosecurity risks to meet Australia’s appropriate level of protection.

Importers of bee products with a first port of entry into Western Australia, Assessment Services Group.
