Processed grain and seed products for human consumption
Effective from 26 October 2021The department has made changes to the import conditions for processed grain and seed products:
- arriving as high value freight
- exported from a khapra beetle target risk country
- packaged in bags less than or equal to 25kg.
The change clarifies the phytosanitary certification declaration requirements for the above products depending on whether they contain
high risk plant products for khapra beetle
This corrects an error made during the implementation of the
Phase 3 urgent actions for khapra beetle
on 30 September 2021.
Please note, when lodging via AEPCOMM, ensure all required declarations meet updated BICON import conditions.
