Changes

The import conditions for corn related products including popping corns, whole corn kernels, corn grits and broken corns have been subject to the following changes:

1. The BICON cases ‘Popping corn for human consumption’ and ‘Maize grits for human consumption or processing’ are amalgamated into one new case 'Maize for human consumption or processing’.
2. A new import pathway has been established for whole corn kernels.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers and brokers of corn products for human consumption and processing, Assessment Services Group and Inspections Group.
