Changes

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has developed a new import pathway for COVID-19 RAT kits for personal use. Importers who are able to meet the import conditions within this new pathway will be able to import these goods into Australia without a permit.

Note personal use only includes use by the person importing the goods, or for use by any spouse, de facto partner, child, parent or sibling of the person importing the goods.

For all other uses, importers will need to review the other test kit import pathways, such as ‘Lateral flow test kits on the ARTG – inc COVID-19 RAT kits’.
