This notice is to inform industry and BICON users that the department has updated the import scenario questions for finfish to identify dried, non-frozen. All imports of dried, non-frozen finfish (including goods authorised for import using and import permit) will be directed for inspection upon arrival to ensure freedom from live insect and contamination.

This notice is of interest to departmental officers, importers of non-salmonid marine finfish and associated industry participants and retailers.
