Espostoopsis dybowskii has been added to the 'Cacti for use as nursery stock' case.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of Cacti for nursery stock, Assessment Services Group and Inspections Group.

Background:
Espostoopsis dybowskii is now permitted entry into Australian territory, subject to the conditions under the 'Cacti for use as nursery stock' BICON case. This addition follows a departmental assessment which determined that this species is already present in Australia and not under official control. This BICON case has been deemed adequate to address the risks of pests and pathogens of biosecurity concern entering Australia in association with Espostoopsis dybowskii nursery stock.
