Confectionery for human consumption

Effective from 16 November 2018

The department has made amendments to the conditions for confectionery. These amendments include:

  1. Egg and dairy ingredients in the product must be less than 10 percent. This is an existing condition for egg and dairy, and the condition has been added to the confectionery case to improve clarity.

  2. There must not be any meat ingredients in the product.

Who does this notice affect?

Importers of confectionery goods.
