Processed grain and seed products for human consumption

Effective from 21 December 2021

The 'Processed grain and seed products for human consumption' case have been updated to include a new pathway for processed and powdered high risk plant products arriving as goods packaged in less than or equal to 25kg bags that have been voluntarily treated with methyl bromide prior to export.

The additional pathway allows goods that have undergone methyl bromide treatment to be assessed accordingly where valid phytosanitary certificates with the required treatment declarations are provided.

Who does this notice affect:
Importers of processed and powdered high risk plant products for human consumption, brokers, Pathway Operations Cargo – Assessment and/or Inspections.
