Baits, lures, attractants and poisons for agricultural or domestic use

Effective from 1 April 2017

This notice provides clients of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (the department) notification of changes to Baits, lures, attractants and poisons for agricultural or domestic use.

What is the change?

The Baits, lures, attractants and poisons for agricultural or domestic use pathway has been updated to make pathway questions clearer and remove the inspection requirement for products containing only department approved biological ingredients.

What does this mean for my imports?

Baits, lures, attractants and poisons for agricultural or domestic use containing only department approved biological ingredients still require a manufacturer’s declaration attesting to ingredients, but will no longer require mandatory inspection.
