Fresh corn for human consumption

Effective from 13 February 2020

The department is incorporating fresh immature corn onto the Compliance-Based Intervention Scheme (CBIS). This change is scheduled to take effect from the 13 February 2020.

What does this mean for my imports?

In order to support this change you will be required to lodge consignments with the following AQIS Commodity Code (ACC):

for fresh immature corn you will need to apply the ACC code: CORN

Please note that if you do not lodge consignments with the appropriate code then your entry may remain unprocessed or become ineligible for CBIS.
